By accessing or using Spendlee (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Spendlee is a mobile-first expense tracking application that provides:

• Personal expense tracking and management
• Receipt scanning and OCR processing
• Budget management (weekly and monthly)
• Spending reports and analytics
• Data export capabilities
• Premium subscription features

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Security

• Choose a strong, unique password
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• We are not liable for losses due to unauthorized use of your account

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Abuse the Service or other users
• Fail to pay subscription fees

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

4. Subscription and Payment Terms

4.3 Payment Processing

• Payments are processed through third-party payment providers
• All fees are in USD unless otherwise specified
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice

4.4 Refund Policy

• Free trial cancellations: No charge if cancelled before trial ends
• Subscription refunds: Generally non-refundable, but may be considered on a case-by-case basis

4.5 Cancellation

• Cancel anytime through app settings or by contacting support
• Access to premium features continues until the end of the billing period
• No partial refunds for unused time

5. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Upload malicious files or viruses
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Reverse engineer or decompile the application
• Scrape or extract data through automated means
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Share your account with others
• Use the Service to transmit spam or unsolicited communications
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Our Rights

• Spendlee and all related trademarks, logos, and content are owned by us
• The Service, including software, design, and features, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works

6.2 Your Content

• You retain ownership of the data you input (expenses, receipts, etc.)
• You grant us a limited license to use your data to provide the Service
• We may use aggregated, anonymized data for analytics and improvements

7. Receipt Scanning and Data Accuracy

7.1 OCR Technology

• Receipt scanning uses AWS Textract OCR technology
• Accuracy is not guaranteed due to image quality and receipt variations
• You are responsible for verifying all extracted data

7.2 Data Verification

• Always review scanned receipt data for accuracy
• We are not liable for errors in extracted information
• Manual corrections may be necessary

8. Third-Party Services

8.1 AWS Services

Receipt processing uses Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS terms and policies apply to their services.

8.2 Payment Processors

Third-party payment processors handle subscription payments. Their terms and privacy policies apply to payment transactions.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• Spendlee is a tracking tool, not financial advice
• We are not liable for financial decisions based on app data
• Consult a financial professional for financial planning

10. Dispute Resolution
